Etsy and selling settings

US 2026 defaults. Change them to match your shop.

Percentages: type plain numbers without the % sign: for 9.5%, type 9.5.

The Etsy transaction fee plus payment processing, as one number (US default 9.5).

The flat fees on every order: the $0.20 listing fee plus the $0.25 processing fee (default 0.45).

A small set-aside for Etsy's Offsite Ads. If about 1 in 5 of your sales come from offsite ads, enter 3.

The share of sales you expect to refund (default 2).

The share of the sale price you want left as profit. For a 30% margin, type 30.

If you often run 10% off, enter 10.

What the buyer pays you for shipping on one order.

What you spend on Etsy Ads divided by your sales. $30 in ads and 60 sales = $0.50. Leave it empty if you don't run Etsy Ads.

Marketing you pay for outside Etsy: this month's spend for the product ÷ the number you sold this month. $30 on TikTok ads and 12 sales = $2.50.
